I started my ground school class. It is going to be 10 weeks, 6:30-9:00pm once a week. The class cost $225.00. I believe it to be a great deal, I am currently 4 weeks into it and everytime I leave I think to myselft "sweet, I don't have to pay the airport tonight". Flying isn't cheep and anytime I can walk out of the office without paying them something I feel good.
In the class we are pretty much covering the Jeppessen book. The benifet is that the instructor is there to answer questions. The other main benifet is all about economics. Since I am getting my ground instruction in this class, I don't have to pay for it during my flying lessons. Which equates to less $/hr and more time in the plane.
